The Turf Valet Started in Our Own Backyard

After moving to San Tan Valley, I installed artificial turf in my own backyard and loved the extra usable space it created. Then Timmy joined Phoebe—and Arizona heat, two dogs, and very little rainfall created a problem I hadn’t anticipated: the turf smelled.

I rinsed it, tried odor-control products, and started researching proper turf maintenance. The more I learned, the more I realized artificial turf needs more care than many homeowners are ever told—and that other East Valley pet owners were probably dealing with the same thing.

That experience became the idea for The Turf Valet: a local, woman-owned business created to give pet owners a convenient, professional way to keep artificial turf cleaner, fresher, and better groomed.

My professional background is in relationship-driven client service, and I’ve brought those same expectations to The Turf Valet: show up, communicate clearly, do what you promise, and treat every yard like it’s your own.

The result is a more thoughtful approach to turf care—one that combines professional cleaning, odor control, mechanical grooming, and detailed attention to the condition of each yard

Phoebe and Timmy are part of the reason The Turf Valet exists. Living with two dogs taught us firsthand how quickly pet hair, everyday use, and Arizona conditions can affect the way artificial turf looks and smells.

They’re also a daily reminder of what we’re trying to create for our customers: cleaner turf, fresher backyards, and outdoor spaces the whole family can enjoy.
